LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal has ordered the provincial environment department to launch a comprehensive awareness campaign regarding environmental protection.

He said mapping of all industries in the province should be done with the participation of the urban unit to ensure environmental protection, while brick kilns should also be included in the mapping process.

Mian Aslam Iqbal issued the guidelines during the Environmental Protection Department’s performance review for its capacity building and future strategy here on Monday.
