With over 2 decades of professional functional safety experience, AnnCharlott has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic and results-oriented leader, she has demonstrated success not only as a Global Manager, but in all of the positions she has previously held. His most recent goal while working for Emerson Automation Solutions is to provide process safety in engineering systems using HAZOP, FMEA and LOOPA tools. She is also responsible for risk reduction and interacts with operations staff and human design processes.

AnnCharlott’s impressive repertoire of past roles includes that of CEO of SILTECH AB, where she began to gain experience in functional safety for the petrochemical industry and in BMS assessment of the energy market. She then held the position of Business Unit Manager for DEKRA AB, and then moved to the position of Engineer responsible for SRE on-site process safety for Azko Nobel AB. Currently, AnnCharlott works as Global Functional Safety Manager for Emerson Automation Solutions.

Her main responsibilities as a business leader and innovative employee are to achieve her operational objectives while systematically managing risks. AnnCharlott has extraordinary abilities to keep staff safe, while improving sustainability and streamlining processes. She manages and manages areas of industrial processes and works on projects that impact the petrochemical, energy, chemical, pulp and paper industries. She is proficient in safety compliance, process engineering, business development and strategy, leadership and staff training, project management and engineering, risk assessment and quality assurance.

Over the course of her diverse professional career, AnnCharlott has completed numerous training courses and obtained numerous certifications. She began her studies at the University of Gothenburg where she obtained an associate’s degree in mathematical statics and probability and studied in depth environmental activities. In 2006, at Lund University, she obtained an Associate Degree in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology / Technician. At Chalmers University of Technology, she earned a bachelor’s degree as a machine engineer for technical innovation and management, then obtained an associate’s degree in advanced project management in 2011. AnnCharlott finished with a PROBANA MBA in 2014. Following her professional requirements, she obtained a PROBANA MBA in 2014. Throughout her illustrious career, AnnCharlott has received numerous awards and honors and has been recognized around the world for her exceptional leadership and commitment to the profession. This year, she will receive accolades for her selection as Best Global Manager of the Year for 2020 and also for the Potential Woman of the Year for 2021 at the IAOTP Annual Awards Gala. to be held at the Plaza Hotel in New York. In retrospect, AnnCharlott attributes her success to her training, persistence, and the mentors she has had the pleasure of working with. She is an active member of her community and spends her free time educating children about water safety and teaching them to swim. Looking to the future, she will continue to pass on her knowledge about safety and risks, while helping people enjoy their work and their interests.
